Built for the room, not just the front desk
Scheduling on tablet supports the same tap to create, drag to move and resize to extend gestures as the desktop calendar, in portrait and landscape. The client roster has a layout built for tablet, so the person at the desk and the person in the room are working from the same screens rather than two different products.
Photos taken with the device already in your hand
Treatment photos are captured on the device camera and attached to the visit and the clinical record. The shutter carries haptic feedback, which sounds like a trivial detail right up until a clinician is shooting a before and after series and needs to know each frame registered without looking away.
Card payment without extra hardware
Card payment runs through the Payment Element inside the app, which turns an iPad into the payment terminal. No card reader required — that is one more device you do not have to buy, charge, pair, support or replace at the front desk.

Reliable in a real clinic, not just a demo
Fonts are bundled inside the app rather than fetched at runtime, so the interface renders correctly on the kind of connection a treatment room actually has. The app talks to the hosted backend over a secure bridge with token based authentication, which is what gives you one account and one session model across web and native.
Same data, same permissions, no second security model
Because the app is the product rather than a companion to it, permissions, audit logging and tenant isolation behave identically. Nobody has to reason about what the tablet is allowed to do separately from what the desktop is allowed to do.

- Is the iPad app a separate product?
- No. It is the same clinic system delivered as a native application, with the same data and the same permissions.
- Do we need a card reader for tablet checkout?
- No. Card capture runs on the device through the Payment Element, so the iPad is the terminal.
- Can providers chart and photograph from the room?
- Yes. Charting, consent and camera capture all work on the device, which is the point of having it in the room.
